Doesn't work that way at CARB. You submit a kit that has specific parts to get approved. You cannot change anything afterwards unless it gets re-approved. I hope Innovate is delaying the IC option because they are submitting that one for CARB legality too.

The non-intercooled kit doesn't even have a CARB cert. yet. If that's the only real hold up for the intercooler can it just get released so those of us not living in a communist regime can stop being screwed over?

That being said, the CARB thing is not why we don't have an intercooler yet, there's other reasons

Don't forget Abbey Motorsport here in the UK Had the joy of driving the intercooled car yesterday. The IC setup is very stealth, the only real give away is the coolant reservoir.

IDK about you, but I enjoy the screws over my engine... sorry for the bad pun.

We're finalizing testing on the newest RR7 flex fuel tune, and we've made some substantial changes since RR5 files.

Updates are:

  • Using stock injectors for e85 and/or small pulleys
  • Flex fuel support and rear o2 support
  • Throttle remap - We could never get used to the on/off switch the throttle became, with 75% of the resolution in the first 25% of travel. We're making it more linear and you can have this map switched to try it out.
  • Yet again revised cam timing and timing map. Even smoother now.
  • Revised intercooler tune fueling to smooth out the powerband.
  • Automatic trans fully supported with crisper shifts
Probably some other little stuff I'm forgetting, but RR7 is a huge upgrade, and I think we're just scratching the surface here. As in the flex fuel thread, with it we're able to create timed out fuel ratios, which flushes both the DI and PI with your current mix of fuel. We are also going to implement a GTR style theft deterrent/valet mode (optional) where if someone jacks the car and doesn't switch maps, they'll be greeted with an engine shutoff after a short period of time
