I've always been thinking it will be the same as the gen 1 car, 15208AA130. Wonder why they changed it. May be because of oil cooler?

IMHO 70% throttle seems like a lot for a fresh engine... Enjoy your new toy.

Did you buy parts through parts.subaru.com? It looks like the 2022 doesn't have fitment/compatibility updated for basic consumables as both the filter and oil part numbers show up as "not fitting this VIN" on their compatibility checker.

Filter: 15208AA170
4 QT 0W-20: SOA427V1315
1 QT 0W-20: SOA427V1310

I went directly to the dealership. Before going, I popped the hood and took a picture of the filter part number to reduce risk of getting the wrong one.

Probably. Not sure if the wrx has the same oil cooler (oil temp stabilizer or similar name)

How many litres of oil does the 2.4 take. The 2.0 takes 5.4L

I think should be 5.6L, but it took 5L to get to mid point. I kept an extra liter and will fill up if needed.

Edit: 5.9L for the complete, and 5.0L for engine oil/filer replacement according to repair manual.

I believe more in breaking the engine in with some level of aggressiveness, personally. I won’t rev it out, but those rings aren’t gonna seat themselves lol.

I've always taken it easy for first 1k miles, gradually building up the revs.. even if the car had no specific running in process..

I installed my JDL UEL Header today. Sounds good and no drone. I also have the Perrin 2.5" cat-back on.

It should be going back on the dyno to compare to the stock pull.
