So my cousin is talking to this girl online for like 6+ months now and they text/video chat ect.. and shes like only a hour or so away and he wanted to meet her and planned it and then like 4 days before they were going to meet up she said "that she cant meet up on the weekend because her uncle has cancer and he stopped treatment and she just found"

What you think its some BS excuse?

My cousin has not called/text her back but she commented on his facebook on a status but didnt say anything back to her... De friend her?

Give it one more try. Another excuse? Leave it.

It's...wrong to leave someone for one excuse. She could be serious...maybe not. If it happens a second time, then you'll know for sure.

It's odd. I was in a long distance relationship for 4 years, I've done some things no guys would ever do. There are strange additions and enjoyments you get out of a long distance relationships then a normal one, though the negatives vastly outweigh the pros.

Fun stuff though, glad to be done with it though.
