I've never understood that line. They were all driving reasonably late model imports. Unless they had swapped in a dog box or straight cut gears, their transmissions should have had synchros in them. If that's the case, double clutching just takes more time for no significant benefit. Why waste the time?

And the Eclipse GS-R he was driving had a weirdly patterned 7 speed gearbox where downshifts during a race make you go faster with riveted floor board panels. They got plenty of shit wrong, but I still want to know when I can get a set of Mushimoto ZX tires so I can do some precision driving.

And why was he downshifting during a straight line drag race?? Damn kids!

Anyways, back to the thread. Sportsguy; cool car or something. That clutch is pretty.
