I had a few hours to kill today so I went up 128/Lake Berryessa again. I made a little GoPro tow-hook mount (per @PMok 's instructions) and wanted to test it out. I'll post up the footage later tonight.

Great drive... pretty much open road up and down. Not a single cyclists. It was so open I was a bit cautious of police hiding in the turn-outs (have never seen any so... yea, I dunno). Great day for a drive.

Haha, whatever dude, you're the lucky dawg going to Buttonwillow (or was it Willowsprings?)
Maybe both, but not until April.

The route: http://goo.gl/maps/blzNQ

Meet at the parking lot across Fairfax Coffee Roastery at 630am, leave at 7am

Fairfax Coffee Roastery
4 Bolinas Road, Fairfax, CA 94930

Starting at the parking lot across Fairfax roast coffee
Down Bolinas Rd.
Left on Ridge Crest and work our way to the peak
Back down to Pan-Toll Rd. and back to Hwy 1
Work our way to Mill Valley for freeway back home

Route should take ~2 hrs. with a break at the peak.

Bring a full tank of gas and your FRS radios if you got em

You should drive it if you ever get a chance. The drive down ridgecrest is amazing, looking almost like a British rally road. Probably my favorite road. I bet some of the folks I took last time would agree.

For sure! I hope I get a chance to meet you guys IRL sometime. It's been a crazy week, drove up and back to Oregon... Maybe by the time I actually meet you all, I'll have blown the budget on one wishlist part or another so I won't have to be the lonely stock car. :-)

Nothing wrong with a stock car ;-) Lots of amazing roads in Oregon, the wife and I just did a road trip up there late last year. The road up the Colombia river gorge is amazing. Crater lake was mind blowing. Love the old Gothic style bridges too!

But I like my shark fin! I'm itching to buy something Perrin, but it isn't an antenna. The real problem is my taste is just way too expensive. :-P
