My windshield is sandblasted to hell. I'm amazed it hasn't been wrecked by a rogue rock yet.

Lol so now you want to be in the cool crowd with the broken windshield. I should see if I can get a fad going. I will start by calling it crackment so it sounds more car crowd friendly.

When I worked at the GM Proving Grounds, we would leave a vehicle parked and still on flat pavement for 24 hours after replacing a windshield. The glued-in glass is part of the vehicle's structure, so leaving it alone while the adhesive cures is recommended (if you have the luxury).
