I also changed my Tein Flex Z damper adjustment from 5 clicks to 8 clicks all around and it looks like with these 2 combos. Everything is very...comfortable |

Looking for some help. I picked up a new set of wheels 17x9 35 offset. Sitting all stock suspension. -0.05 left and right camber up front -2.10 left and -1.25 right camber in the rear. Will 245/45/17 Fit with no rub? If they do rub should I downsize width or side wall?
Thanks! |

Here is my meaty tire setup. Old Corvette C4 Z51 Enkei wheels I had laying around from a Z51 Corvette I had years ago. The wheels are made by Enkei in japan and have casting inside the rim showing the make and size, the cool thing is they came off my old 1986 Corvette. The more 86 related parts means more faster right?!?!?
Specs are: 16x9.5 ET. +38 all around 255/50 R16 BFGoodrich G-Force Sport Comp 2's all around Front - 25mm spacer/adapter Rear - 50mm spacer/adapter Im using spacer/adapter to get the lug pattern correct, and to also space out the wheels to sit flush with the widebody kit. I have only seen one other 86 with corvette rims so I thought I would share. 20180326_160213 by David Smith, on Flickr |

'Salad shooters' may not be for everyone, but I think that they look great! I also think it is really cool that they are off of your old car. SOOOO Meaty!

Leonardo - Yeah I have heard them called "Salad Shooters", "Sawblades", and a couple other things lol. I had them laying around and needed wheels when I went to the wide body kit so I figured I would just use them till I get a new set that fit correctly. But after putting them on, I am really starting to dig the way it looks. It is definitely a unique look on this car, not everyone likes it, but I dig it.
They are pretty meaty because I went with the OEM tire spec of 255/50 R16, mainly because there are only 4 tires that are made in a size that will fit these rims. And only BFGoodrich and toyo makes tires in that size. Basically the only things using that tire size now is the old C4 vettes, and older porches. |

salad shooters are LT1 Z/28 wheels. Those are sawblades and why... they were terrible on c4's... they are still terrible today.

Anyone running 18x9.5 +35 with 245 or 255’s. Flush fit or a little poke? Going to be running coilovers. I would like a nice clean look, no fender roll or crazy camber.

Put some Avid.1 18x9.5 +38 with 255/35R18 Continental extreme contact sports. I'm running BC coilovers and dropped about 1.5". I need to lower it a little more, and maybe roll the front fenders a bit after I finalize the alignment.
