Thanks! Nice alternative to potentially messing up the pinch welds with jackstands without pinch weld blocks. I wanted to get a quickjack just because they offered pinch weld blocks

If yours comes with liquid thread sealer, skip it. I used it, and mine leaked ATF. Good thing I remembered I had actual thread sealer/plumbing tape. Fixed the leak in no time. Take your time with the initial set up, and bleed it properly |

Ordered some header flange bolts.
Toyota wanted $2 per, Subaru wants $8 LOL. $12 vs $50 |

I hit a kangaroo. Actually last week, not today. I was doing 100 on a country road just before dawn and barely saw it before I hit it.
Barely any damage to the front of the car. Need a new headlight, fog light, bumper, grill, side guard... No engine damage, radiator damage, suspension damage... All good. But the f&$king airbags deployed. They’re fixing it, but the bill (paid for by insurance) is over twenty grand. That’s just nuts. My car is two weeks short of its second birthday. I suspect the 2 year new for old replacement clause was the deciding factor. |

I'm surprised they are fixing it with 20k in repair damage.
Good to hear you get to keep it. Edit: played with OFT and flashed V4 stage 1 tune while I wait. Not much of a power improvement, car pulls healthy but overall it feels smoother. Maybe that's a throttle mapping difference. Last edited by RToyo86; 12-03-2020 at 11:02 AM. |

You're really lucky. Usually airbags is an automatic total. I never understood why they cost so much to replace.

Not today, but quite recently I designed and organized "Triple Turn Indicator" on my 86 using 555 timer. The car is 2012 and initially came without it. Here's a short vid about the process:

I looked at it, like I do every day... more like stared. I can't keep my eyes off of it, really haha!
But late November I finally installed my VLand headlights, Intec LED fender garnish, smoked switchback sequential side markers, and switchback LED Fangs on the front bumper cover! I think it came out fantastic! Havent taken any pics of the fender garnish install yet, but heres some from the front: Ive got more install pics and info over on this thread: https://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=142727
