Hm... maybe you need where's that 7.7sec stands in the current 2L NA FR.
2L Miata runs 0~100km in 7.9sec
2L BMW 120i coupe runs 0~100km in 7.8 sec
FT86 is 7.7secs.... yeah, 10k~15k cheaper than BMW 120i and still 0.2sec faster.

Also base engine FB20 is pushing 148ps (145hp) and they changed that to 200PS (197hp). That's pretty good improvement.

Again, if you want high hp/tq car then, you're looking at wrong car. Look into 370z, Genesis, Mustang, Camaro or whatever v engine cars. This car isn't no stock high hp/tq car.

edit: Also you're comparing this w Altima? Altima that has 3.5L v6 engine? You must be joking! If you look at hp/L ratio Altima is looking at 73.7hp per liter vs FT86 is 98.5hp per liter... try again

"以外" technically is "expectation" not "less than"

You meant to write "以下"?

The concern is not a high w/hp ratio, rather, if it can only do that with 200hp, how much the hell does it weigh.

The Miata only has ~170hp but weighs 2400lbs, the BMW has 170-200hp, but weighs over 3000lbs (2900-3200). I think you can see where I'm going with this.....
