Hi all....I'm from down in San Diego, CA

i've been following the japanese scene for about 13 years now although I've been a fan of japanese trucks and cars for about 20 since I was in high school.

I currently drive a 2003 IS300 which I enjoy very much and have modified several times over. But have been waiting for a new lightweight RWD affordable model following in the spirit of the AE86. Well they brought out the FT-86 and here I am. I can't wait until it comes out. I want to see what the final specs are for the car when it's produced and see if they come out with a GT model. I'd be all over that...

Well Toyota's finally making a new car that is interesting enough to buy, and not sold as a Lexus. And affordable too! Great, but too bad it won't be really buyable until around 2012 when the dealers finally start selling them for the MSRP after the initial 'be the first on your block to own one' price mark-ups drop.

Hello hello, I looking to buy my first car in a year & a half when i finish my School/Training for the Army, when I saw the FT86 I'm like 99% sold. Cars I were looking at were RSX-S, S2k, 370Z, & maybe going through the trouble of importing an S15.
