well you should probably tell that to kpax because volvo is ahead of porsche, chevy and just about everyone else in the pirelli world challenge.

The cars that won the championship were Camaros and Cadillacs. Everybody is ahead of Porsche. Btw watching racing on tv doesn't mean squat but if you think it helps you talk shit on a forum then that's your business.

Until reviews come in for the 2015 Mustang, there's no telling how it will perform. Various stats that are out there really point to this thing shaping up to be quite a potent vehicle and if Ford continues their ridiculous rebates, this is a VERY serious contender against a FRS or BRZ.

It is on MY list to cross shop this car against the BRZ.

I actually like the new look. I still want to see it in person though.
I love my FRS, but I gotta admit it's not the best car ever. Reading some posts, there's members who seem to think our cars are better than everything else. Just be happy there are more options and competition. Without it we would just be stuck with Prius' and smart cars. Ha

I don't really care for the new look - I am just happy it finally has a real rear suspension BUT it is SIGNIFICANTLY lower AND wider than the predecessor.

The 4 banger turbo is also going to be interesting given how ridiculous the Fiest ST and Focus ST are.

I may just very well go over to the dark siiiiiidee....

The FRZ is a great car, on a different level. This Mustang can be awesome on another different level too!

That's like saying Artillery is better than Apache chopper. Two different tools!

Race wins have everything to do with budgets, rules, and drivers, and little to do with the merits of the cars as stock.

I was considering a Mustang GT when I bought the BRZ. Either one would have been a DD and weekend track car. Since I was coming from a decade of AWD, I decided that the BRZ would be a better platform to learn on and more economical for DD and HPDE. And when the new GT w/track pack comes out, I'll decide then if I want to pick one up. I love the BRZ, but the GT is also a blast to drive. Time will tell.

Excellent discussion video here:

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ySz5GWMWRuE&feature=c4-overview-vl&list=PLGvTvFzdMg_OIya3r7lFUJvdvtXSZmdD5"]Talking 2015 Ford Mustang! Wide Open Throttle Ep. 90 - YouTube[/ame]

This is why I prefer MT over all the other car mags - they tend to get to another level of discussion without being too tongue-in-cheek or disrespectful.
