So who ordered Auto and got their VIN, what's your 11th digit? Usually stands for transmission, and mine is "1". I ordered MT.

mine says 1 and i ordered manual.

With all these people getting their VINs i'm starting to get worried about the dealership I ordered mine. There are only four of us who pre ordered and I emailed the manager regarding the VIN he just told me He's going to check it out if there's any VIN that has been assigned to the four of us. He also said Subaru has been very sporadic with these VINs. Other than that info. no vin and ETA for me

But I notice most people getting their VINs pre ordered early March so I'm hoping i'm next sicne I pre ordered it march teens

still no vin, finally got my dealership to give me the von..the parts manager and sales manager arent very friendly or helpful... you would think me being their first and only customer so far that lives in the city with them they would be more enthusiastic. My sales rep though is phenomenal.

still on SOA "Waiting list"

How many pre orders on your dealership? and what date did you pre order?

I haven't heard anything, though I didn't order until 4/9. I was 3rd in line of 4, but the first guy backed out so now I'm number 2! Not sure if that will actually push me up or not...

I'm in Iowa by the way...maybe the only one??

Oh, and I got the VON yesterday since I didn't get it originally. They told me not to call SOA because SOA doesn't like like it, and it comes back to the dealer...any truth to that? From what I've read, they mostly sound friendly...but I don't want to get my dealer annoyed at me and hold my car from me and/or destroy it for spite!

I don't think so. I'm getting my VON from my dealership tomorrow then call SOA for any updates on the status of my pre order.

I don't get how people expect to "move up" in any order. Isn't everything based on the date that you were entered in the Subarunet system relative to the rest of the nation?

I know this hardly matters since I'm Canadian but I'm #2 at my dealership and my vehicle is already in Canada waiting for official release.

I really do think a lot of #2's are going to be getting their vehicles in time for the American release.
