When looking at the install video I noticed the fogs tap into the low beams. I am very much a noob with current and wiring, etc. Over the long term, does drawing two lights off that same source cause any long term negative effects? I guess it makes me leery to "tap" into the low beams rather than source independent power. I am certain I am way wrong about my logic and probably look like a fool, but wanted to ask anyways before I pick your fogs up

You are correct, that would be a concern. But they do source independent power, from the battery- the tap is just going to draw nearly zero power, it is just to signal the relay to turn on. We've designed it to be completely safe on your electrical system.
