So here's interesting...
I put on my Tarmac 0's last week (love them by the way) and knew i'd need camber adjustment, so I bought the $150 WL rear camber bushings. I decided not to install my them myself and just let Subaru do it when they did my alignment... They figured an hour, maybe two since they would already have to adjust them. 7 HOURS to get those in. Not even kidding. They only charged me half, but those things are a bitch for only +/- .75* camber adjustment. And this was their good tech guy too. It sounded like an absolute horror. The service guide for removing the upper control arm is 5 hours alone. So - moral of the story here is if you need rear camber adjustment, just spend the $300 on good adjustable LCA's. Oh, also - my alignment turned out fantastic. -1.5 Camber in the front (With only factory top hats and bolts) -2.2 camber in the rear 0 toe all around.

I don't think that is the norm for that install. I am sure someone who has done it can chime in, but I am confident that is way too long.
Also, the camber bushings are the proper way to adjust camber in the rear. The adjustable arms work, but changing the length of the lower control independently of the rest of the suspension arms is not the ideal solution if you are looking for a better performing end result. I think racecomp would agree. |

My coilovers have been sitting on my garage floor for a week and a half now, and that's where they'll continue to sit for the forseeable future because I still don't have my f***ing conical washers RCE was supposed to ship with them. By the time they arrive I'll be neck deep in house projects. Missed the two free weekends I had available. Should have ordered the washers from Subaru in the first place.
So frustrated at this point. |

I went all the way down in the front, and probably 1/2 way down in the back (32 threads from the bottom) haven't done an actual measurement yet, but before I raised the back a little, they were only 1/2" different.

Myles,
How can you tell what spring rates you have based on the markings on the springs? |

Been waiting a long time still for my Tarmac 0's. Almost a month! It will be well worth it though. Ready to close that gap once and for all and get some clearance.

The 50-200 go on the rear. - SO the 50-200 marked springs should be 280.

Ok - just checked my springs that came with the 0's - the 225 front springs are labeled "40-200" and the 280 rear springs are labeled "50-200"
Hope that helps.
