$1000 for the auto, will take a long time driving the auto with the better fuel economy to make up that initial $1000 hit.

Whether or not Subaru had the right info or not, I'm not sure, but I'm confirmed ZGrinch's info outside of this, so that is correct per Subaru..

Thermobox from VA posted part of that info on here yesterday evening. Looks like your dealer was a day behind? They send you that info this AM? We probably could have gotten more info out of Thermobox. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3859 Edit: Nevermind zgrinch, noticed your other post on this. |

This is just retarded marketing. It also disrespects Tada-san's vision for an affordable sports car, which is just shameful. Last edited by Silverpike; 02-23-2012 at 05:18 PM. Reason: spelling |

It won't be $5k more expensive for the premium then FRS. That would put the FRS around $20k. Not gonna happen.
Also Tada didn't design the car. Subaru did.

Wow with that mileage difference I am going to have to go with the automatic... That must be a HUGE difference in the gearing ratio...
![]() I drive over 20k miles a year and it should make up the cost for the auto in no time... |

Dave-ROR you think there will be limited production now with the BRZ like we have been talking? Seems like Subaru is basically stating this themselves.
