In case of a front end collision, the wheels and floorjack behind will fly forward and murder the driver, wouldn't they? It looks dangerous...

@Capt Canuk, if you are worried, you may have noted the two solid brackets, where the rear seat back snaps in, if in upright position.
Wouldn't be difficult to strap the wheels to these brackets to fix them.
I used to do that in a very similar way with my bicycle since years: Works well enough to push the car really fast over a winding mountain pass, although the precious bike lies right behind you.

The 12' mustang would be a sweet car but i see like 50 mustangs a day.....412 hp is great but a lightweight 200hp 86 will be much more fun in the twisties

I don't really find the arguments of defective mechanism or ripped soft tops valid since in that case you might as well get a car without glass windows (less chance for someone to shatter them) or power windows (Even less failing mechanisms :P)
Power convertible top systems break over time and are very expensive to fix. Especially the powered hard top kind. If you have a convertible and it's out of warranty it can be very expensive to fix. The canvas parts are easy and realatively cheap to replace but the motors and systems of a powered hardtop are very expensive...

tranzformer, I love how the squashed image makes it look like 315 wide rubber mounted on those factory wheels. Steamroller Version 1.0 edition.

Used soft top MX5 NC + supercharger + hardtop = problem solved, and quite cheap too i'd say

They are about 10k apart; not exactly in cross-shop range...

If I was looking for a car at the 40k level, I would be getting a used GTR or a really clean, low-mile Supe.

I had an epiphany while riding in a deafeningly loud, arctic-cold C-17 for 9 hours a couple of nights ago..

I want an STI. No, I need an STI. I've almost pulled the trigger on one at least 5 times since '06.. Now I'm going to do it..err, did it. My '12 shows up at the dealer March 2nd.

The waiting game for the 86 is got old. Just couldn't wait anymore.

I will definitely be test driving the BRZ/FR-S when i get the opportunity, and if it can pull me away from the STI then so be it, i'll trade it in. Until then, I need something now.
