Just keep in mind that you will lose torque when you do. 3 inches on a N/A car does that. You are removing the back pressure by having a larger exhaust and thus killing your torque output. Not the same case when you have a turbo setup cause the turbo needs to flow and hates back pressure.

At stock compression on a K series 11:1 I made 425whp at 16psi on 93 and drove it that way for three years beating the piss out of it. I only ended up building internals for fun later on. I never had any issues with the motor. I'm sure the 86's high compression Subaru motor can handle 8 psi. And incidentally, high compression makes the HP numbers easier to hit. |

8-10 psi isnt high boost, but it is with 12.5:1 cr on 93 with oem internals. Im not misinformed in the slightest. People bashing others is just as harmful as this accused " misinformation"
