Why not? Probably more than ever! Throttlegate will be long past by the time FT-86's are produced, and the same reasons Toyota expressed previously of bringing back some excitement to their staid brand hold true.

i hope throttle-gate doesn't cause a complete re-thinking of toyota's longterm plans and causes the ft86 to get canceled.

Bring it as a Scion I say. I think Toyota is more concerned about selling to the masses than to the enthusiast. Business wise anyways.

My main concern with the Scion brand is that up until now Toyota has stated that Scions should be price below $20K. I don't think the FT86 can be realized well for that little.
I don't want to miss out on LSD or a good suspension just to squeeze the last $1K-$2K out of the price. |
