At dinner, my wife and I were talking about life today, and she alighted upon an annoyance for her: the sissification(sp?) of the American male. She reminded me of the local talk-radio host who regularly goes off on this topic, and she related what she hears these days in her office from the males in surrounding cubes.

The women talk about their workouts and getting "buff."

The men talk about their clothes, fashion, their massages, and their grooming products.

No, I am not kidding.

My wife was getting a bit worked up over this "development" in recent years. She threatened me with dire consequences should I ever become like these wussy males.

"I want cats to be CATS, dammit," she declared, "dogs to be DOGS, men to be MEN, and women to be DEAD!"

Ashley?

You and my wife would get along famously.

@wrxgoose my internet decided to crap out on me so I had to reset the computer.

I should probably stop studying chemistry now....and lay down and continue to read dexter...yes that's an excellent idea.

I think next time tho you should play something with mutants or zombies
Now that I have weekends off I have more time to study, lmao my mom was like "why are you studying with gunfire going off"
me: "mom I get panic attacks during tests. If I can solve problems with this amount of distraction Ill be good during the exam"

Just being silly, but with some serious intent, too. It's interesting to observe how our culture has changed over the decades. My wife was imagining what her father's take might have been on modern, young males. He's long dead now. We're both orphans, now, my wife and I.

And you have said some things over time that reflect the attitudes and perception of someone in their thirties or older, rather than your "tender" years. You reflect a maturity that belies your years. Most young people of your age have not yet come to understand the things that will come to them as the years pass.

So, did you tell your dealership that they are NOT to drive your car, NOT to wash your car, and NOT to fill the gas tank?

[I'm gonna drag this kid into this, kicking and screaming if necessary, but someone's gotta do it. This is her FIRST NEW CAR, and we need to help her get it right. Or, at least get bruised up trying to help her... LOL! ]

Yeah I'm pretty old school on a lot of things...But every situation is different tho.
Lol and thanks! I told them no drilling!.......dear god would they really put anything other than 93 in it :o
They can't be that dumb.... Right?
Right?!?

...As for the wash, I was thinking about telling them but being that I'm gonna track it (probably once every summer) and the paint is already pretty weak, spiderwebs will be the least of my problems Sadly :/
Better mentally prepare myself for it now.
I know they'll leave the plastic on the interior because all of them on the lot were left like that.

simple answer... yes... thankfully, when I picked mine up, the gas gauge barely moved from where it sits when the car is off... lol

the gas station almost put 87, but I was there and screamed, STOP! Premium only...

Wait... Does the paint need to cure still?... Shit maybe I'll tell them not to... Put they're so stupid, (I had to tell them what the Monogram series was-you work here!! Wtf) they seemed so incompetent, and there was a bit of a language barrier... Okay can you see why I'm trying not to get excited until the car is in front of me in person -_-
