I especially liked our most recent xxx horsepower thread. Was about halfway through a decently sized paragraph when I refreshed to see if Tcoat replied to it, and sure enough it was the best reply that thread really deserved.

I think a lot to do with fb gp. Younger ppl are used to posting more in fb & fb gp. In fb gp, almost impossible to search old info (well still can). So younger ppl just post the new ones.

They have same mentality in the forum.

They threatened to delete my Tcoat account so I just changed the name. Just figured Tcoat would have more meaning to people than Anthony.

I think a lot has to do with how to get info from the internet in general. The younger the user the more accustomed they are to just typing what they want into a search and getting an immediate response. When that is all you had to do your whole life then you expect answers. That is fine when using Wikipedia or such but they don't always realize that they are asking real live people a question here. With people the answers are going to include opinions, emotions and all those other horrible people things that come with the real info being sought. I can't even imagine what would have happened to some of these guys back in the day when you had to actually walk up to people and ask a question in person to learn what you needed.

"Well change the cam, polish and port and throw a 6 pack on there".
"Oh you guys don't know what you are talking about none of that will work I wanted to know what could really be better. Maybe I will just throw a Chev engine in there"
