I'm actually hoping one of the trims would have the TT V6 from the LS500. There was a rumor from a Toyota engineer that it will come with it. Maybe somewhere down the line when people start complaining about the lack of power.

When did people complaining about lack of power ever mean anything?

[quote=gymratter;3045566]i was told chinese and japanese share about 80% of the same characters.
do you see anything else thats interesting below? https://www.supramkv.com/threads/mkv...ine.737/page-3 Ooof.... My ability to read is very very limited, but the Japanese characters in the article are largely not shared with Chinese; I think @n0thing makes a great suggestion to use Google translate's camera app, but the vertical orientation of the text made it difficult... Couldn't get much out of it. 3.8s 0-62mph/100kph is mentioned. |

The Kanji used by both can have the same meanings, usually different sounds though. Chinese is entirely kanji, while Japanese is a hodge podge of two different alphabets and kanji. Japanese has one alphabet for Japanese words and an entirely separate alphabet for foreign words. Both I believe have 46 characters. Hiragana is for japanese words, katakana is for foreign words. Let's see how much I can remember... ah, ee, ooh, eh, oh, ka, ki, koo, kei, ko, sa, shi, su, seh, soh, ta, chi, tsu, te, to, ra, ree, roo, reh, roh, ma, me, moo, meh, mo, na, nee, noo, neh, no then there was n, oh well can't remember...haven't done anything in japanese in over 20 years. watashi wa, Jaden desu... I would have no issues with it being a copy paste engine from the M240i, they're likely underrated and still make great torque, plus tuning solutions are available. The car appears to have great looks as well, the only thing I am anxious for is the transmission, choice.
By all means sell the 8 speed ZF, but PLEASE give us a manual option. Even if it is a notchy ZF it's better than no manual at all. The M240i has a manual option, I just hope they find a way to stick it in there.

Didn't a stock MKIV only have 280-290hp at base?
