Hey all! Does anyone know what the torque tightening specs on the castle nut and inner arm nut of the Rear Adjustable Toe Arm are? I've been looking through the forums and couldn't find any info. I'll be putting in the LCAs and rear adjustable toe arms this weekend.

What size is the bolt?

Edit: Proper torque is dependent on a number of factors, but here's a rough guideline based on bolt size: http://www.cncexpo.com/MetricBoltTorque.aspx

Whoa! Please don't smack the threaded part of the joint with a hammer like they tell you to. At least put the bit back on, or use a pry bar to put tension on it and smack the side instead. Bad advice, yikes.

I thought about saying something but then thought it might be taken the wrong way.

A great way that I have often used is take the Castle Nut or Standard nut if they are not using a castle nut and flip it over. 99% of these nuts have a lip built into them with little to no threads at the end. So screw it down until its almost flush with the stud coming up and then hit that with the hammer. This way you shouldn't damage any threads or the stud itself and you can get those stubborn ones loose. (These cars are so new though that you shouldn't have that issue)

Well, I have a few things I need to get rid of as well as offer some services if anyone is interested.

Items for sale:
Carsmo Armrest
Lathe works shift knob - titanium with neo chrome finish
Wide angle rear view mirror

I'm looking to move into the detailing business so if anyone would like a detail please get in touch with me. For now I won't be charging much more than what it would cost for the materials used. Service will basically consist of a wash, decontamination, polish and/or wax. I'll be using a porter cable 7424xp and products will be either Pinnacle or Zaino. Feel free to shoot me a PM for any additional info/pricing.

I want to see all of it lol! And I happen to have some detail work for you, lets chat! Maybe we can get a time for you to come down one weekend and do detail work for all the Tucson Guys at my house, you can use the High Speed Buffer, Air Compressor, Lift basically everything you need to here.

The Vette has some scratches that need to be cleaned up and the FRS could use a good first buff. However me and High Speed Buffers do not mix... I kill pads.

I'm sure we can work something out. I'll email you pictures of the items for sale and we can set up a time/date for me to come down to Tucson. At most I'll be able to complete two cars in a day down there. I could speed it up, but would rather not compromise the outcome.

Depending on how deep the scratches are on the vette, I should be able to clean those up nicely, as long as its not down to the metal. There are a few routes we can take, but I'll be sure to bring everything needed just in case.

They are not just someone put a box on top of the trunk lid while we were doing the engine swap..... Plus I am working out some minor scratches with touch up paint and then 3000 grit so it will need a high speed buff and polish to make it perfect after that.
