Might be able to increase the longevity of the factory internals with water/meth injection to cool things down?

Also, did you guys monitor oil temperature at all like Perrin? They claim that oil temps were getting really high on the dyno. I can imagine oil temps surging even more with a turbo. For anyone tracking this turbo kit, would it be advised to install an oil cooler?
this when you get a chance.

Nope vettes are lighter than the new GT mustang...I think the C5 vettes were around 3300 pounds max....

But they also ran LS1's..... which dyno at ~300whp bone stock. I'd expect it to be slower given power/weight. Unless it was modded.
They weigh 3250 so yeah you were right about weight. Thought they weighed a bit more.

If both were stock I wouldn't expect 300/3250 to beat 370/3650. But there are factory freaks and that Corvette could've been at 320whp stock, I've seen 280-320. It also could've had a minor weight reduction

Check out these threads:

Looks the average Corvette (with good driver) runs high 12's and 13 flats, while Mustangs are running mid 12's.

Yes. It put down 350whp on my dyno. I think I did pretty good against it!

Honestly I think I'll be the first one to drift this car with a turbo in it. As sad as that sounds.

I'm not a chick. I don't blog

I'm having to devote alot of my time back to finishing other projects in the shop. Were going back at it next week on the BRZ I think. For now i'm still daily driving it. Racing here and there and taking people on rides.

Coming monday, were starting another BRZ build with a production company from New York. This car is going to have a header etc. Will be testing a larger turbo as well.
