LED should have a more saturated/brighter look for up close, but it fails to match HIDs for down road illumination. They tend to be more obnoxious to oncoming drivers, but that is mostly up close because they intensity dissipates quickly. The ideal situation would be HID projector headlights and LED projector fog lights because there would be down road visibility and up close full saturation at a low height, so there is less chance of blinding oncoming traffic.

I've been looking through this thread and searching for 30 minutes to no avail. Where'd you get that front crash bar? It looks sick with the front grill off. Also, have you had issues with crap flying up into your intercooler and cooling setup with the grill off?

No issues with debris so far but I'm also not driving behind other cars on dirty or unpaved roads. There's been a few leaves that made their way in but they're easy to grab. I'd say there's no more risk for small debris getting in than with the oem grille piece present since it's got pretty large openings anyways, not a finer mesh like the FR-S |

I think I prefer the brown background over the red. Keeps the focus on the car in my opinion |

I've been needing to get something more sturdy for my Verus splitter chassis mounts on the JDL front bar. I'd previously used 250lb tensile strength industrial zip ties and was never satisfied with them even though they held my body weight on the leading edge fine. These new clamp mounts are perfect and only $16 👌

Spare package arrived from a friend doing an LS swap. Every engine sensor, OCV, and Fensport underdrive water pump and alternator pulleys. Got a longer belt on the way. These pulleys will slow down the water pump which tends to cavitate, and the alternator which doesn't need to spin so fast to produce the needed amps at sustained high RPM on track. Will also theoretically pick up a couple HP but that's not the point.

Finally back on the rollers today for a custom flexfuel tune from DBW Motorsports . Results exceeded expectations! 367whp/322wtq on E76 @ 14psi and 306/267 on pump 93 with the 9psi wastegate spring!
Big gains over the baseline. It made 304whp and 255wtq on E85 on the same 9psi spring back in 2017 with the stock engine! Exceeded that on pump gas this time! Final numbers! This car is truly violent now in the midrange. Can't wait to get some more miles on it soon! Last edited by ATL BRZ; 12-19-2020 at 09:19 PM. |

Is your redline 7k to fight oil pressure loss? Or for another reason? (Dyno not reading rpm properly? Me not reading dyno graph properly?)
Edit- or maybe the turbo just falls off and it's pointless to push higher for your gearing needs |

Its 7400rpm and yeah it just falls off around 7000 because the compressor is right at its 400lb/min output which is around 400 crank hp.
