Hey Synack, while the new mustangs handling IS much MUCH better than previous generations of mustangs (as I had a sn95 mustang, a 1996 GT and drove the generation after that, and my parents own the previous generation v6 and I have driven the current generations v6 and v8) I still won't say it is on the level of the GT86.

Yes it is better, and YES on certain tracks a BOSS 302 has beaten a m3 (which is awesome, and great for ford) but I think this turbo FRS/BRZ would also beat both of those cars on the track.

Totally agreed. Given the Toyobaru has an actual decent set of tires. I think the FR-S would kick its a$$ around turns. Oh and for the record, I F*CKING HATE MUSTANGS. I'm a Chevy guy traditionally. Just thought I'd clear that up as some of you probably think I'm a Mustang lover after all these benchmark posts. I just use it as a comparison because it is unfortunately the best of the American pony class muscle cars currently.

The next gen mustang going to IRS will make it pretty nasty, and I'm not a mustang guy either. They are going to screw up it's looks though.

I dont know why they are even gonna bother with IRS again. mustang guys will just bitch and moan and put a 9" in anyway. Same as before. 90% of them really only care about going fast straight, turning and stopping meh, thats takes away from speed. Camaro guys are like that around here to tho.

No I'm not confusing anything. I've bent over backwards to use the units you use in the US so that it's easy for you, instead of the usual Kw the rest of the world uses.
Check my figures where I compensated for the 20% power loss through the transmission to the wheels and related that to the flywheel power.
You can call it what you like, we call it power at the wheels and power at the flywheel.

I'm here to talk and read about the GT86, BRZ, FR-S and what a turbo does.

Flywheel horsepower = bhp

It's better to go looking for actual numbers of dynos as opposed to just doing a drivetrain loss calculation.

I'm not trying to be mean here or anything. I've given you nothing but facts so far. There are others that have been giving you a hard time, not me.

Hell, I spent a whole 5 minutes on that long post with those pictures!

Just so we can quite arguing the fact on a coyote mustang. I barely beat one yesterday along w/ a c5 vette who put down 350whp on my dyno. The vette was more of a challenge!
