Anyone have a truck or hoist? I am 100% pulling the engine today / tomorrow. If I can't find a hoist ill buy one. If I can't find a truck I'll rent one! Time to get this damn engine built!!

So Captain Jack informed me Voodoo 13 has no intention of honoring or working with us on the pricing change from what was stated at the bash to their new price.
Before I start in on posting about the situation else where I figured I would give Nelsmar the chance to talk to them.
After waiting all this time to buy the LCA's they were making and now having the price change this much as well as me turning down a local member on his LCA's yeah let's just say I'm not happy.

Not to be a cock... But I'm not pulling favors for you Elliot. You and me just don't get along. I don't know if any other way to say that nicely. It sucks that the price was misquoted. If I remeber they decided to go to a more expensive production method right around the time of the bash and it sounds like the sales guy at the event wasn't informed yet. And that really sucks that you missed out in buying a locals LCAs. I wouldn't be too happy either. I remember taking to the owner about pricing months ago and he was wanting to do something around the price you were quoted but around SEMA time they started trying to do higher end production and it hit off well at the event so they decided to pull through on that instead of going the typical outsource route.

Nameless did the same thing too. 1500$ for a header after coating iirc! Hopefully both products just end up being good enough to justify it. I have faith in both companies providing something to offset the extra cost

Found a hoist and a way to move it. Now to find a location! Tike to see what the inside if this block looks like!

Never ask you for a favor Nelsmar I asked if you wanted to talk to them before I jumped in and made a public issue. I don't want any favors from you that's why didn't come to you for my license for ecutek. This was just about being polite I will take it up with them now publicly.
This was never just about me even Jeff was told that price this is about a local company not delivering to the local group they made the statements too.

I'm going to start with a cat back exhaust, then a header. I'm thinking GReddy Evo 3 or whatever you guys suggest. I want something that will eventually have a lot of burble; a very deep sound (UEL header for sure).

If your going to get an uncatted header make sure to get a quiet exhaust haha
