Dimman has abandoned all thoughts of titanium fabrication until late spring/early summer.

We are having some complex changes at my company and my buddy who is the welder was laid off.

Realistically this will probably never, ever happen but it always seems around one more corner which leads to one more hurdle...

They're trying to get more Chinese made parts. But they are so bad we have to spend hours reworking them, which ends up costing more money. But we joined a union which has a collective agreement that the company can only subcontract if there is no job loss. So lawyers are now involved.

It's a shit show right now.

But hey, no flying penises in Random Thoughts at the moment.

My car is so filthy that I parked it in the driveway for the night just so the rainstorm will clean some of the gunk off. I need to take it to the wash.
