Wife complained about the squealing, so I went to TRD pads and new rotors. They feel like cardboard compared to the HP+ pads, and have none of the initial bite/confidence. I'm also a detail freak and performance pads dust a bit more than I would like.

The stopping performance was pretty awesome for a street car (I don't think the HP+ pads are good for anything past autocross), and I am sort of regretting swapping them to TRD pads.... but gotta make the wife happy.

I am thinking about selling my Tom's Tail lights USDM spec , $350 pick up . Got them from 86speedfactory in November brand new. 10/10 quality no marks/condensation. I live in Chicago.

Just like what gouldilocks said, I know this isn't a selling thread, but I'm going to be buying a new set of wheels and will have a set of OEM wheels for sale. They are wrapped in RE-71r's, but the tread isn't all there. Going to be making a FS thread real soon though..I own two sets, so if an FRS owner wants them, I can switch the center caps for you as well

Can anybody recommend a self service automotive bay that rents by the hour near Chicago, or NW Illinois area? Or I'd someone has some jack stands and car jack I'll flip you some cash If I can change my oil in your driveway :p

I bought a oil extractor from Amazon and did an oil change through our dipstick. In my condo garage. Took 25 mins to drain

Probably not much help but I will be near Chicago the week after memorial day. I can just bring my jack and stands with me.

Yeah I'm looking to change it this weekend. The drive from Seattle racked up a couple thousand miles so I'm just about overdue as it sits right now, thanks for looking out tho! 👍

I'm in Naperville. Technically northwest suburbs. I have a one car garage but I've installed coilovers in it, so an oil change is no problem. There's a Napa and an O'Reily auto parts warehouse within walking distance also. I'd be happy to let you do it here if you'd like.

cruising on I 94 South yesterday towards Chicago , spotted blue brz with white wheels and slammed . I was in the white BRZ with the TOM's and gold wheels to bad we couldn't have any fun because of traffic.

Anyone interested in used Valenti Black Edition Tails? These do not have the sequential function and were on the car less than a year. Nothing wrong with them, no condensation, cracks, or anything like that. I just purchased the new ones with the sequential so I am looking to sell my old ones.


Located in the western suburbs of Chicago. Looking for $210, would prefer to sell locally instead of shipping, can drive to meet people as well. Just to be clear the Black Editions are the ones with the smoked lens and the light bar is still red even when non illuminated.
