Got the word last friday that my entire group (at a local aerospace firm) is being surplussed.
We're welcome to move down to Huntsville and re-apply for our jobs, but in the mean time, f-you.

I've got 34 years in, so likely going to take whatever retirement benefits I can squeeze out.
Going to be sub-optimal in any case I can imagine. If they claim Detroit Bankruptcy for business purposes, it's going to suck bawls.
