I once got a meter of snow in a 24 hour period. It wasn't fun. Took like 8 hours to shovel the driveway.

You mean a meter in a season? I don't recall Chicago ever getting a meter at once.

1 metre= 3.3'

That's a lot of snow. A few years ago PEI and parts of New Brunswick got somewhere in the range of taller than a human in a few days. Digging out the front door becomes a priority. Gander, where all the jets landed on 9/11, they get ice age style dumps too.

I dealt with Canadian building codes for years. Maritimes get mega snow, west coast has seismic issues. The Florida of Canada would be Victoria. Or Windsor, in a trailer park sorta way.

Don't blame me for that. Depending on where in Iowa you are you may be slightly north of me as well!
Most of the cold air you get comes from Alaska anyway so it is just a matter of Canada, including British Columbia. borrowing it and giving it back to the USA when we are done with it.

We can get a meter of snow all at once here but generally it is gone again in a couple of days. Being surrounded by the great lakes means no matter which way the wind blows we get the snow.

Fair enough! In the winter, I'm often jealous of the temperature in Anchorage... they get that nice warm, balmy air off the Pacific and then it cools off over the cold, dark tundra. I complain here in Iowa, but folks in Minneapolis and Fargo have it even worse. I'm actually surprised the average low temperature in Calgary is about the same as me in Iowa. Edmonton is colder. But our summers are much warmer.

You are probably still 30 miles north of me.

I grew up in northern Indiana, so I was well acclimated to lake effect snow off of Lake Michigan. But you are surrounded by lakes; I bet you go weeks without sunshine!

are you implying that i might not know how much a meter is?

yes. i'm so tired of people complaining about snow. don't live in the snow belt if you don't like the snow!

i prefer the storms that snow enough to bury everything. if it's gonna snow, it better snow enough to keep me inside for a few days.

i don't mind digging out of the snow, i just prefer to dig out of the snow without the annoyance of having to be somewhere!

Yeah there certainly is a “WRXness” about the fender flare and side skirts. Did Subaru have more input on the cosmetic design this time around?

Anyone know how accurate this is? Because if true, it might be pretty neat:

Likely bullshit I reckon. Only my opinion though.

Yes they put rear wheel steering on it. It is also a fully titanium tub and carbon fiber body with a 400hp engine. All for $25,000!

It seems highly unlikely. I would strongly prefer it didn't have rear wheel steering; one less thing to break.

Its a bit more Lexus F car style to me.

Kinda makes it look like a baby Lexus RCF (in the camo it does, maybe not so much when the full car is revealed)
