I thought so. Thank you for the info. Unfortunately, my FFL do not currently have any XDM on his list that he does SSE for. Time to search for another.

SSE can be bypassed entirely if bought through a private party transfer (PPT) withsome one who already has one. I'm not selling mine, but they show up every now and then on the Calguns for-sale forums. Prices are generally high considering the PITA process we have to go through to get them, but it's another option.

Ah gun thread... I spent more on these two SCARs (including optics, Geissele trigger, and other mods) than I did my car mods. Which is sad. I have a bunch of other ARs, AKs, Glocks, but those are boring.

Nice SCARs, have a 17s myself. Know what you mean, optics alone were killing me. Sold my elcan to go acog sold the acog to eotech back to an acog and sold it to go aimpoint. Was shooting heavy metal 3 gun for awhile and it got really abused but I've moved to more traditional 3 gun and CQB style now. Shooting comps made me really glad I reload. May need to dig it out and SBR it since that 13" barrel is available now.

Working on a new dedicated 3 gun rifle at the moment. 18" barrels have been such a bitch to get a hold of but I should have a DD and a Criterion inbound to test out. Too many expensive ass hobbies.
