i would usually agree with the exception of that the tc world is flooded with used turbo kits for about 1500 so 350 on a tune and you are at 170WHP 180Wtq.

^ Hmm, i don't know if it's the angles, or the color, but that doesn't look bad!

PS: Loving that aggressive pointed spoiler! + lol you can see the Photo-Rig in the bumper!

I'm just happy that there are good <> excellent smallish sports cars (again) from different companies coming out all of a sudden. This is the best way for us all to get what we want, whatever that is. It keeps all of them honest because there's nowhere to hide when you've got a lot of competition. I encourage all the competition .. no matter who it is ... for us getting best performance, for us getting best pricing!!!

BTW that new GC looks poretty sweet, I must say. And for those dissing the interior, you think the FRS/FT-86 interior is all that? It sure doesn't look it even compared to my 8 yr old RX-8. Just saying...

The rear looks FANTASTIC, but Hyundai seems to never be able to get the front quite right. The Kia Equus or whatever the luxury sedan is called has a gorgeous rear end as well, but the front looks bad.

That's pretty obvious wouldn't you say? Most people can tell it is. I was only referring to the interior. Other than that, I don't like the new exterior either.

In a tc that's probably about 20-25 whp-10-15 wtq. For 2013 the GC will not have 210 hp anymore so we shall see which car is the better deal then.

Nope, sorry. The tC's 2.4L (1st gen) would walk all over that car when you start adding in $'s of aftermarket gear.

$2k in a tC would get you 300+whp. That's the cheapest you can get away with a turbo setup. The GC is a poor performer due to being over weight.

300whp and 300+wtq, not 170whp/180wtq. Just a correction there.

Show me a turbo kit for the TC for 2k that is reliable and not some put together parts. There is no way 2k can get you a turbo kit plus tuning on a N/A engine. And another thing 300wtq on FWD is epic fail.

I've been building my tC for 5 or so years, you really think I'm pulling your leg?

Take your pick. Everything sold is by a turbo maker for the tC, not some Cheap ebay china knock-off parts.

Dezod S1 turbo setup ($1900). With that 50trim Turbonetics turbo, it's good for about 350whp.

That's enough to get you down into the 12's 1/4 mile with the right tune on it.

That's used stuff. There is no way you can make a really good turbo kit for 2k with everthing. Where is the profit in that?

Um...you specified $2k. That was your only requirement. I bet I could still make a turbo setup with all brand new gear for $2k.
