Say it ain't so... BUT it's clever how the director had both Nicholas and Glenn wear the exact same t-shirt. Soooo I highly doubt those were Glenn's guts...

On The Talking Dead, Scott Gimple said Glenn will be back in some way, could be flashback or current time.
Nicholas fell on top of Glenn, if he could scoot up under the dumpster he might be safe but there are still 100 walkers around him. I kinda think he's dead, they haven't killed a major character in a while and they needed to get out of the happy place and back to reality.

Why, whenever they stop a vehicle do they shut it off? If Rick had left the RV running he would be out of there now. There was another episode they shut off the car then it wouldn't start.

he could just be coming back as a walker kinda like Merle did.

classic tv/movie scenario. fitting it came when the girl fell and hurt her ankle. I knew she was doomed at that point.

a death like that being trapped with walkers all around would be a great series Finale, kill off the whole cast in one shot! lol

I still believe there's a slim chance of Glenn surviving a horde of walkers under a dead body. But if he does manage to get under the trash bin, how does he escape? Will someone miraculously stroll on by and save him?
So far this series has been doing the whole back and forth looks of the story. So lets say Glenn is trapped, it could be a while till we see anything for him (maybe 3 episodes without him), the show will focus on other parts of the story.
Or they just flat out go for it and he turns to into a walker.

All I can say after watching that moment, I felt sick. Then thought about it, he didn't get much justice on his way out, so it is likely that Glenn could be alive.

That hurt me to my soul when Glenn went down. He seems like he's in a "No way out" situation though.

Side note, why is Rick the Savage so impossible to kill?

Hindsight is 20/20.... but they passed a perfectly good roof access when they got into the alley... then they could have jumped in the dumpster (assuming help would come)... they could have pushed dumpster to the left, climbed over the fence on the shrubbery side.... they could have cut the hands off the first row of walkers and just waited it out.... or better yet, once the walkers get piled up - simply run like crazy on their heads/shoulders to get away !

He'll survive.. but that bloody intestine pulling-eating scene was epic !!

Maybe... just maybe that scene was all in Nicholas' head as he imagined what would happen if he shot himself in the head... Another question would be how Glenn was still conscious after falling head first into the concrete with another body on him from the height of that trash can. Another note is how the scene isn't at the end of the episode, rather with about ten minutes left. Never happens in an official death.

If you remember, the Wolf that came in the door first shot at Rick several times and missed. He put several bullets through the dash and that's probably why the thing wouldn't start.

It's always bothered me how everyone conveniently forgets that you can just cover yourself with walker guts and travel completely undetected. Last episode would have been a perfect time to put that to good use.
