don't forget to write down your purchase date/warranty length!

i've given up on recording it in files and just write directly on the appliance. much easier to track now.

Happy to be getting a couple more laps out of the old water heater.
It had me worried, and kind of sticky for a while.

Water heaters, washers, dryers, and ovens don't scare me. Furnaces and a/c's though....

Email gets sent out throughout the whole company. One person goes full retard and replies all which activates a chain of people replying to all requesting to be removed. One person replies all telling people to stop using reply all, which activates another chain of people requesting to stop using the reply all.
Im 200 emails in.

I hate my life.

What makes this even funnier, is that people cannot be removed from distribution lists.....

The sad thing is, that the distribution list is supposed to consist of Engineering depts. The email list also is also hardwired to all departments in the company, so you cannot be removed from distribution lists. This happens way too often.

The influx was so bad that my email just shut itself down. I'm keeping it closed and dealing with the aftermath later lol.

These are the type of lists that should have limited access as to who can send to them. That helps prevent this as well. Communications sent to that broad of an audience should always be selective.

Gas or electric? I have a spare electric since I converted to gas.

Oh, can't replace it now. I healed it with a laying on of Hanz.
It's lasted over 65 years so has a sort of mystic affinity to the property.
It's electric with a string wound fiberglass interior vessel like an Apollo oxy tank.
Mid century modern over engineered don't make 'em like they used to sort of thing.

The rest of the plumbing has all been replaced, but pop didn't fix that part of the system.
It'll need code adjustment with a spare pressure tank and earthquake remediation.
