That's because the factory turbos put on EJ series engines are small and not well matched. Very peaky power results from that kind of set up ("truck like torque curve").

I don't think I've ever seen a hp curve do what you're describing... They always climb to redline.

I don't understand what that dyno graph is showing me hp/speed.... that's not HP/rpm.

Whats there not to understand? Its a normal dyno graph over speed instead of RPM.

It's the same thing. That's one gear they were testing in, RPM or speed, doesn't really matter.
