This is something I am wanting to do. Does the front one have pegs? Or is that just the rear?

Both have pegs (I haven't gotten to the rear one yet). The front is held on by double faced tape and the pegs just center the badge in the recess.

Well, the thing is... I was replacing my front bumper (hit and run) and after I mounted the new bumper, I tried to remove the badge from the old bumper. I used a small pry-tool to get behind the badge and not-so-gently pull it away from the bumper. I squirted adhesive remover into the void created by prying and continued to work it until it finally broke loose. Then I noticed that a small amount of adhesive remover got inside the badge and began to eat away the blue finish. Since I planned on either painting or replacing the badges anyway, it didn't bother me. I took the badge apart, removed the rest of the blue finish, and painted it with what paint was left over from doing the new bumper. I would NOT recommend this method on a bumper you plan on keeping in perfect shape. I don't know how well dental floss would work since the front badge sits in a recess, but it should come off with some heat, adhesive remover, and pry tools that won't scratch/damage the paint.

After the debasge it was time for its first was went ahead and tinkered with my plate frame a bit as well, painted the mount screws black and evened the spacers up. Amazing how such a small change made a big difference in the rears appearance.

This is great! I've been looking for a nice way to cover the silver on the dash

How was the install? Also, does this interfere with the function of the passenger airbag on the dash? Since it's one piece I'd be concerned that the airbag wouldn't deploy properly.
