Yeah it was superb. It was my very first track experience - thought the instruction was great. Mine was one of the 5 swp/whiteout but the only one at the whole school who used blue tape haha. Probably the slowest car around the track on Saturday, learned lots though

I'm glad you enjoyed it. Don't worry about being slow. The key is to learn the car, and learn the lines.

Absolutely, felt like I made significant progress by session 3, just information overload in the first few runs.

Spotted at the Mosport big track this past Monday was the FRS with the spider decals on the car... can't remember his handle name but if anybody knows him, PM me please!

Him chasing down one of my friends that day in the Audis only to pull away on the front straight I'm guessing....

Don't know him personally, but discussed his car with him at one of the meets at Guelph Scion. He's an older gentleman, has a lot of passion for what he does.

Is it me or that B7's subframe is like scraping the tarmac?

Someone with a white BRZ at the gas station asked me again today, the two most often asked questions about my car ever; "What exhaust is that?" and "How much is it?"

At least people have stopped asking me how many HP does it have and how fast is it (less than what you have and it's slow).

Ah there you are... forgot your handle. Great track, I need to force myself to get beyond my personal comfort level which has locked me into a 2 minute laptime LOL. Nice meeting you there also!

I think his plastic 'skid plate' came a bit undone, in other photos it looks like the back part isn't secured correctly. Didn't notice it on the track and haven't asked him about it yet, but will do that now.

I was looking up the times for the time attack at the big track, looks like a stock FRS (and most likely with the proper tires for a time attack) was doing 1:45 which is pretty good for this car. Another 30-40 hp on this car would probably do wonders on the back straight.

Vortech supercharger would be all the GT-86 would need to be competative on the back straight. With balanced sway bars and Direzzas it already slays everything on the corners except a Lotus and it is on par with that.

What were you driving ?
