Don't know if I've posted in this thread before, but I turned 40 in October '14. Within months my waste has begun to expand and I am starting to use my arms to help myself up off the sofa. Bending over to tie my shoe laces got much more difficult and I seem to get drunk on my first 2 beers, but am able to carry on drinking for much longer. I also find myself following the 45mph brigade and NOT dieing to overtake them. Always looking for an easy life.

I thought these things were supposed to happen gradually! I was fit as a fiddle at 39.... (okay, maybe not).

Just thought I'd add this in here to add some cheer to those in their high 30s. Wuahahahaha.

Jesus, I'm 23 and the same things are happening to me. I gotta stop smoking and get an easier job where I can sit at a desk all day.

If you are a Production Engineer (or at least could do the job of one) I will hire you for my Windsor plant! Don't even need to stop smoking as that is where we get half our work done anyway.

I smoked for 22 years. Started to get funny stuff happening to my lungs. Moved to vaping and my lungs improved within hours, better within days and I have saved myself a load of money in the process. I wouldn't promote vaping as totally safe and as it's still a nicotine habit I would NEVER recommend you start vaping, but when compared with the known lethal combustion of tobacco it's the far lesser evil.

My car used to smell of smoking. A few weeks after I started vaping a friend got in and said, "Oh, it smells nice in here, smell of sweets.", I figured as there was no air freshener it had to be the Berry flavoured juice I was vaping.

I started about a month ago, I went from a pack a day to 2-3 packs a week so far.

Oh, I'm 41 so I'm old enough to post in this thread :-).

I'm 56 -- certainly old enough to know better but gonna' do it anyway!

Only mods at this point are brake pads (toasted the stock pads at Buttonwillow). Plan soon on oil cooler, brake kit and of course wheels/tires

Quite the opposite really! See those military pattern tires? With anything from 1 to 4 inches of snow you were not going anywhere and they only worked when it got really deep. Great plan on Canadian trucks.

Oh and it is a 5 ton and had under 100 Kms on it when I started driving it. Judging by the MO chalked on the tailgate that was part of the very rare occasions it was used for gas. I usually hauled aviation fuel for choppers. You did not want to mix the two up!
