Have been many different cool moments however the funniest one so far was 2 young lads came up beside me Friday night on my way home from our first Ottawa FRS/ BRZ get together and said that's an awesome Aston Martin. Why correct them? LOL

Had a guy ask me on my way back into work from lunch the other day if it was the AE86. Said that was his first car. Showed him all around the car and under the hood and he loved it.

I can't count how many looks I've received. I don't like how I am being egged on to race, however. Acura RSX was begging for it. I'm not used to the attention coming from my e46 BMW

Not that I plan on racing much, but it would be nice to know which vehicles that challenge us may actually lose to us

first gear isn't very impressive. however, with a heavy flywheel, second gear wakes up a bit. I think on a roll, about 5k rpms, we can keep up with 80% of the cars on the road.

Then again, I got roasted by a Kia trying to merge on i-95

Haha I was getting ny car chrcked out at the dealership today. I got stares and compliments from the customers and employees alike, a lot of people on both sides still have no idea the car exists.

Just yesterday I saw at the park with my girlfriend and I notices a car driving back and forth a few times until finally 4 guys come out and examine my car and take pictures.
I tried to push the panic but i was too far and didn't want to get up just to scare them... haha
I'm already used to it. haha

I was at Carson Toyota yesterday checking out a Silver AT in the lobby and this teenager comes up and could not contain his excitement. His eyes popped out of his head and he exclaimed, "What the hell is this?!" then after he immediately jumped into the driver's seat he practically yelled, "Oh HELL yeah!". When I popped the hood for him he said in the same animate fashion, "How is a Toyota dealer gonna have a Subaru engine in one of their cars?".

It was pretty funny and the people standing around the lobby couldn't help but smile - I guess the kid is known for bringing his Celica in regularly for service.

I'm enjoying all the attention from having the 1st FRS in town. Just not the attention from the haters. Had my car spit on by 3 guys after they parked next to me at the store to check out my car. I saw them leaving when I came out of the store.

+1

The majority of people that do get it aren't 16-25...not saying those guys won't, just saying that over all, 26+ understand that life isn't actually 1/4 mile at a time...and that there are in fact curves. Curves are meant to be straightened out though!~

On Friday I was at a light and this older gentleman, honks his horn to get my attention, so he can strike up a conversation. Asking me some questions and what not. He ends up asking me how fast it can go, I was like from one dyno video I saw 270 kph (if I am lucky). After that he was like, guess I wont be drag racing you.

Plus another interesting run in with someone else, was a guy from Japan. I parked the car in front of the bank, while this guy going into this sushi shop, stopped and smiled. We ended up talking for a few minutes.
