Despite my semi-good leadership (hey, only got lost once!) this was a great event. Weather was perfect, zero incidents, and we even got to see a horse and a covered bridge! I gotta admit, being the only red car there and playing "Rudolph" was a lot of fun.

I'll have to find out if I can get photos from my friend who came along, along with a couple I got myself. Oh, and next time, I'm not taking point, at least not the entire time

The excursion through the woods was worth it to drive RT260. That was an unexpected bonus. I love RT260. Actually the the road in the woods was fun too. Just a little rough.

How about that red Ford Focus that stopped on the uphill to a blind curve to wave us all by. Thanks a lot guy! I guess it did not occur to him to stop down in that valley where you could see for half a mile. Or maybe it did.

Glad that my navigational error was appreciated

And the woman driving that focus looked terrified, and seemed to be driving that way, hitting 5 mph through one of the stronger curves.

Add to that the idiot in the Chrysler on 550 who couldn't maintain a speed to save his life, or the crazy in the red Ford Explorer who was tearing around a turn going the opposite direction, tires screeching all the way. Or the guy on the bike who looked like his life was flashing in front of his eyes. Part of the fun of this trip is the cars and other vehicles that we encounter along the way

Here are a couple photos. Sorry, for my lackluster photographic skills.

That was a grueling but fun drive. When I saw the "Zanesville - 17 miles" sign I was counting down the miles. I certainly confirmed the existence of the VSC and ABS.

I made it back to SE Michigan that evening. The Sunday evening I-75 traffic was just as scary if not more so..
It was nice to have met you all. Thanks for the experience. That Salt Fork Lodge and surrounding land was an impressive place. Beats much of what Michigan has in State parks. It is equivalent to many National parks.

I was told that one of the MR-S's may have been airborne coming over one of the hills.

Thanks for making the long drive down to do the run with us. It was a pleasure to meet you.

Considering that your fearless leader on this trip may have had a couple wheels airborne at one point (we all know which point), I don't think we need to worry about it
