If you want to disregard that fine. Why do you think people are spending extra $$$ for the limited version? Most of them give their primary reason for going with the limited due to the seats.

I acknowledged your diagram. That's fine, but still doesn't make insurance an automatic deny when involved in a collision. It's not your insurance that does the covering if it's not your fault bro. My driving record does not indicate that I'm accident prone. Just because a person mods their car does not make them "reckless".

I'm not putting you personally at risk, so what crawled in your corn flakes?
Less stupid ideas in the heads of BRZ/FR-S drivers - the lower the insurance, since insurance companies don't audit 100% of claims and some claims of bodily injuries from morons who took out their airbags will be paid out, increasing overall rates for all drivers of these cars.

Most of the review made me

Except this: "This transmission hates aggressive 1-2 shifts. Missed 2nd gear multiple times as a result."

My mazda similarly hates aggressive 1-2 shifts and I was really hoping I could say goodbye to that awful periodic grind. I'll be listening to everyone's reviews on the transmission here and probably buy mine in 2014.

Dragonitti - you seem to be trying to paint a weird picture of the world. Do you not recognize that there is a class of driver between the grannies driving 10 under the speed limit and the guys who dump their clutch at every stop light?

I have driven plenty of performance cars, I drive spiritedly, I occasionally use 100% of any car's horsepower - and I never dump my clutch. I suspect 95% of drivers are similar.

It is possible to drive spiritedly in the real world, use all of a car's horsepower, and never "dump the clutch".

There is a world of performance and spirited enjoyment of sports cars in the real world outside of the drag strip.

All of these positive reviews keep speaking to my heart and soul. They all sound too good to be true. As if this is the car I have been waiting for (I have been waiting a long time). If this car is really like all the reviewers are describing it, it will be epic. Well worth the wait. Well worth holding on to for a long time. I just hoped this isn't all a conspiracy theory as they sucker me in hook, line and sinker and then drop the price on me. lol

The numbers back up the reviews. I'm confident that this car will meet my expectations at a minimum.

Same thoughts exactly. I really hope I will be exactly as great how everyone has been saying. Only thing left to do is wait...

I don't know why people are still so hung up on numbers. I would think those people already bought their genesis coupe, mustang, and camaro.

Maybe because they were expecting something like an S2000 minus a few horses for the price of a Civic Si, and reality is only now hitting them :P

It's still interesting figuring out what's behind the discrepancy. I'd say we're seeing why you really need 93 octane. The "rev-limiter in 2nd gear" could really be the ECU logic preventing revving too high on 91 octane.
