No. That's the model trim/transmission designation. DZE/01 is Limited manual, DZA/01 is Premium manual. I forgot what the automatic transmission trim designations are.

Not entirely sure what the DZE means, but next to engine spec your order should say C, which denotes California, which is actually the only option for the car across the country.

I put up my info yesterday (#56 on this thread's list). At that time I had a put down a $1000 refundable deposit with Autobarn in Countryside, IL. I stated I agreed to $890 over MSRP - it was the best I could find in the SW suburbs of Chicago, after a frustrating search.

However, another dealer called me back today and told me that they changed their minds, they will be charging only straight MSRP. So, I am getting a refund and changing to Grand Subaru in Bensenville, IL - $500 deposit. Same car, different dealership. Now I'm number 2 on the list instead of number 1, but they are getting at least 20 cars this year, so shouldn't be more than a few weeks extra wait.

As of right now I have two deposits down, but will obviously be cancelling one. If someone is looking for a SSM limited manual, and want to be first, you can either PM me or contact Autobarn after next week. I dealt with a guy named Mario, and he seemed like a great guy and straight shooter.
