Went to Taco Bell and the guy at the drive thru kept checking out my car telling me it was nice.
Then he asked what I did for a living and said one day he would own one.

LOL, not that I don't think an FRS isn't something to aspire to, but the average price of a new car in the US is about $32k now.... but for some reason I've noticed that there's just something about sports cars. You could pick up a 10 year old s2k for like $10k now, but people in their brand new sedans and SUVs costing 5x as much will still give you an attitude like you're some kind of rich asshole...

Had 3 girls yell "that's hot" and "sweet" at me while at a stop light. Something that never happened in my 08 STi.

There is a reason for that. No offense, but the 08 STi had the curb appeal of a minivan or station wagon. Great car other than its looks.

"Hey thats a nice car!"
Thanks!
"How fast is it?!"
Not very.
"Oh, well it looks great!"
Thank you!

I've had this conversation at least 6 times.
Oh and kid's (like 18-20year olds) always ask how much it cost.
Annoyed, I'll tell them 25k, (because they can find out anyways).
Was I the only one raised to being told that is impolite to ask how much someone spent on a car?

Kids at my school think it's 70,000, they are always surprised when I say it's 25 and I pay for it.

twice this week i was chased down on the highway by an STI, both times right before my exit (i like to give it some "spirit" before the offramp lol). i'm making my way over to the slow lane and i see a crazed madman swirving around people to catch up before i got off. kicked it up to 6k just to be an asshole as he went by, caught him rolling his windows up too

Bunch of Syria related protestors in Westwood near UCLA. Drove past them near Wilshire, and some of them stopped chanting and said, "wow that's a nice car," "woah look at that", "that's a subaru?!"

sitting a light, a guy in an SUV next to me honked, wasn't sure what the deal was so i rolled down my window

guy: "sorry to bother you, but what kind of car is that?
me: "subaru BRZ"
guy: "wow that's a subaru? really nice"

i de-badged mine, left the subaru emblem tho. people are still like, "subie? no way"
