I don't care if it's an option, as long as it's not standard. That would seriously make me look elsewhere.

I thought his insight was both accurate and funny.

BTW, I'd have suspected that other magazines and blogs were also invited to the event. So I'm surprised that some mention of it hasn't popped up in other venues.

Toyota should just say "F*** you Subaru" by designing a new Supra that is ridiculously fast, efficient and affordable.

Wait... "driver's car" = lacks power and has a clutch pedal... I completely forgot this law that came from the bearded lips of God. Those crappy supercars with their flappy paddle gear boxes are an affront to the faithful everywhere

I just hope the car comes with 5x114.3 bolt pattern....and that toyota designed the engine/trans/diff... at least a strut knock is an easy fix!
Personaly I feel that anything but Manual is an insult to a sports car. Sitting there and letting the car do the work for you while you drink your morning coffee seems pretty damn weak.

No, current 2L H4 isn't gutless at low rpm. I can tell you that for sure. Out of other 2L 4 cylinders, I'll say EJ20 is up there. Also FB20 is 145hp, but it comes w 145tq too! Don't underestimate boxer engine... BUT again, engine is setup for AWD... so not sure FA20's gonna be

As for the sun roof, there is no need for a sun roof, at least for me. I've owned 4 cars all with a sun roof and have not used it in any of them. If anything have it as an option.

Sorry man, I just don't see the point of an automatic in a sports car. To me the point of driving a sports car is the experience, the engagement, the driver enjoyment. An automatic errodes on all of that. I'm cool with an automatic if I ever decide to buy a Lexus LS430 though. That, IMO, is where an automatic belongs. At least Honda did it right for many years with their top model sporty/sports cars. If you want the good one, learn to drive a manual or GTFO.
