Also, what does a deal on extended warranty and/or maitanence package look like? Free or just discounted?
Most likely discounted.

I'll give Frank a heads up sometime during next week or this month about the tax. Or.. someone else can ask. Lol

^ as always Giccin, awesome job handling the groupbuy operations. Do you know if Frank will charge us the invoice price for the accessory options too or just retail?

And hopefully he'll throw in the floor mats free :P

I asked him about the invoice price for the accessory options. Unfortunately, they'll go for retail. :<

And yes.. I want those all-weather mats too. Lol.

And a short shifter. :P

Yes...I think most ppl knew that was going to happen....

but (like me) you might want to wait and see the actual pricing + options/packages/etc. since most of it is speculation (based on what people have written in magazines and etc.) before you make your decision.

There are a few different lists for you to put yourself on in this thread if you are still unsure

All depends on your preference and what you want in each car.

Yup!

Also I'm leaning towards going with Frank. I know I said I have little to no regard for dealers but this guy seems like a genuinely good guy.

I still have another dealer to go too and last time they blew me off so this time I'll speak with a different rep.

Nothing is decided until about.. April when all the pricing info comes out. :> Till then.. anyone who's interested in this Subaru Group buy (whether its for the BRZ or another car!) give me a heads up and I'll get everything sorted out for you. Since I know most people don't like talking with dealers. :P

Alright, I've been a long time lurker around the site for a while and was content to stay so until I saw this thread cause I am looking to retire my poor, old (but been awesome to me) Subie that I've worn ragged soon. I'm down for the 'Potential Buyers for the first release' section, but I can't commit myself 100% yet to the 'right-off -the-bat' (even though it's 95% likely it is going to happen).

That's fine. That's why there's a potential buyer list. :P

You can purchase in the following months when necessary or when you're able too. Anyone in the Right-off-the-bat are essentially the people who have their finances set. I really do want those who are ready and want to purchase right away to be truthful to their word.

The more people we get on the lists the better the group buy will be.

Hi! I'm a newly registered member, been lurking for a few weeks though

Please put me in the potential buyers list, planning to get a BRZ Limited when I become eligible for the VIP Program (6 months, just signed up today lol).

I'm going to e-mail Frank a bit later to ask that myself. Probably a good idea to order as soon as possible though if you want the car by then
