I went back to stock after having the airraid intake for a few months. I like the quieter sound of the stock intake w/ k&n drop in filter.

The car should breathe better now that the airraid is replaced back to stock

Has the FA20 CAI been compared to the others?

Ya, that's with the hood open in a controlled environment. Try it in more real world testing with the hood shut.

thats understandable. so which intake (under a uncontrolled envi. with hood shut) will make more power? fa20club intake looks to be a TRUE CAI, i would thermo wrap the pipe as well... but im lookin for the highest HP intake. as we all know, this car is slow... i can run faster with 2 broken legs lol

FA20club or Perrin. I use the aFe which does perform well, but my main concern is living in Texas and it gets pretty hot here in the summer. The idle heat under the hood could affect the intake some.

I might end up changing mine to the Perrin as I like the design, and sits out of the hood in the bumper.

So far, a lot of the intakes are around the same hp/tq, ~3-4 whp or tq give or take. Until these are tuned, you won't see large gains, but I would think the true cold air designs will excel the most.

If you plan on tuning, Perrin has a "tune only" intake coming out that is showing upwards of 14 whp on their dyno. Could be very interesting.

In my opinion, VMS intake sounds the best from the ones I've heard. Not sure on the quality and engineering vs perrin and FA20 though.
