The place I was going to get tinted was charging around 600$ for 35% all around and 80% in the front but it was crystalline which rejects almost all heat. Anybody know any places that offer high quality tint like crystalline and ceramic? I don't wanna have to go to that place if its the only place that offers high quality tint I mean I'll pay it if that's the normal price but if it isn't and another place does as well as a good job on a good quality tint at a lower price then I'll go there lol

I had a similar cost when I got a quote for mine, it was 25% huper optik all around with 3M crystalline on the windshield. Did it on my brothers car and the heat rejection is amazing. Well worth the money imo

Read the specs on the tint for heat rejection % aka TSER. **edit -metalic will affect phone reception.
3m Crystalline is a "premium" tint so expect to pay a premium price.
I went with suntek cxp 55 all around except wind shield, installed for $300.
The suntek is bang for the buck imo. Only a couple % tser difference.

Ceramic does not affect reception, that is the drawback for metallic tint.

20% Llumar ATR all around for $275. I think I might get ATX on the windshield.

20% is the lightest I would go but I wouldnt go much darker either. 20% looks dark against a bright background but not on a dark background, so if someone wants that dark look in any light then this isnt it. It is perfect to still see at night though. It also works fine with sungrasses or the auto-dimming rear view mirror.

Just got tinted... FormulaOne Pinnacle, 35% all around.
Also, 90% tint for the front windshield bringing visible light transmission down to 75% in the front (down here, 70% VLT in the front is legal).

Nice....What tint shop did you use? I thought it was illegal to put tint on front windshield....Where is this location of your pic? It looks familiar. Welcome to the forum!

I just used T&T Tinting. A bit more pricey but it's easier to believe the lifetime warranty when they've been around for so long. Front windshield used to be illegal up until a few years ago. Now can do the whole windshield instead of just the top strip, so it's all good.

Oh, and this is on top of the Hawaiian Brian's/24 HR fitness parking lot on Kapiolani.

Oh, and this is on top of the Hawaiian Brian's/24 HR fitness parking lot on Kapiolani.
I had my tints done by them. Had to take the car back because of severe bubbling on back window. They redid the whole thing. My car was only 5 days old when they redid it. I'll call them to get a quote for the front windshield.

Yuh, T & T Tinting costs more but their lifetime warranty is awesome. They do quality work and have been around since 1980. My cousin bought a car from me and had T&T replace all the tints in the car. Warranty is transferable.

Ah, thought the location looked familiar!

Is that stained tint, metallic or ceramic? I got Llumar metallic which is great but lately I have thought of getting my windshield lightly tinted, and I am concerned I wont be able to use my polarized sunglasses. Right now my glasses create wavy lines or spots when I look through the tint. This isnt a big deal on side/rear tint but it would be impossible for the windshield. Do you know if ceramic doesnt create that effect?

I didn't tint my front windshield the OP did.
I have ceramic tint on my car. I've never heard of wavy lines when looking thru polarized sunglasses. Go to a tint shop and look thru a ceramic tint with your sunglasses.
