No clue about the BRZ coming to dubai before august.. But I just spoke to futtaim and I might get the manual model for another test drive soon... I would like to see the differences..

Sorry guys, just a quick off topic question. I am moving to Dubai soon. My friend has an original 1986 Left Hand Drive AE86, 2 door coupe. It is the fixed headlight model (looks similar to a JDM Levin). The car has been used as a track car, has coilovers, TRD 2 ways LSD, TRD gearset, roll cage etc.

Will it be possible to register this car for road use in Dubai? It is road legal here in the UK.

Also, I recommend you join www.evolve.ae and inquire about this as several members there have been bringing several rides from outside the UAE and they can explain to you how to get things sorted in more detail. I am a member there aswell..

I was at Goodwood earlier on today. Got an opportunity to see the GRMN Gazoo Sports FR Concept 86 up close today! Looks amazing and the bodywork mods have a great effect.






Also present was an AE86 Corolla GT Touring Car replica

I have learned about some of frs/brz owners reporting an idle issues on this forum, and i was trying to hold my self from buying until the 2014 model is being released, but i couldn't do it, So I said

You are my test subject then . I am trying to find people outside US have the problem .. nothing so far.

Definitely an issue worth checking out and diagnosing.. Its our duty as enthusiasts to figure out fixes for such things.
