I like this compact little equal length exhaust. It has some funny snail-like thingy on it though...

as to all this talk with ppl swapping the engine out, or putting a ej25 or 22(allthought that would be very good ) i think a great deal of ppl will be suprised how much grunt you can get out of a disi engine (think diesel) especially if its turboed. all i can think of doing for this car is putting stronger internals in it (unles they are already forged) and tuning the ecu for higher boost cus with disi u wont get knock easily, or at all depending on how it is controlled

I am looking into swaping a 2zz and 6speed trans from a 2006 xrs and Im wondering if I'll drop something powerful into my rolling storage shed '94 Hyundai Scoupe Turbo. At 900kg, the car's handling is wicked fun, and with some power and coilovers, would make a great track car.

RE:engine swap thread

Hi,
The three things you want to consider doing while the engine is out is replacing the water pump and thermostat housing with the aluminum parts. The plastic have been known to fail. Also the pre-10/95 S50s all had a possibility of valve spring retainer failure due to the way the retianers are mfgt. Also check the tightness of the oil pump bolts including the gear.

Care to say what engine you're talking about?
