One thing I love about the second gen discussion threads is they can go from total a argument to meme in a matter of pages
Unfortunately I think Toyota and Subie are going to play along with the meme game

Highly doubt they are the design team for Toyota/Subaru. Maybe for Kia/Hyundai though...

Didn’t say it wasn’t. It’s not Mustang level bigger, IMO. At least it’s not as big as a Challenger.

Just my guess. I'm the type of person who would never be certain of anything in the future unless I was presented evidence explicitly proving something is guaranteed absolutely not going to happen.
It would be obvious that Toyota would never release a turbo 86 and jeopardize 4-cylinder Supra sales nor would they ever let Subaru release a turbo BRZ for similar reasons, but I haven't seen anything from Toyota or Subaru stating that they will absolutely not put FI into the second-gen twins either. As I said though, I think it's very, very unlikely that an FI 86/BRZ will happen.

Then along came the internet and the advertisers pay by click system. Need some clicks? Just make up some bullshit and throw your own render up. Don't have time to make up bullshit? Then just piggyback on some other clickbait site and add your own fake information. Can't get a real interview then just twist what was said around in another one to make it fit your story. Get everything totally wrong and an official announcement comes out the next day that is the total opposite? No problem just write up a new article and hope people forget what you just said. These sites work on the theory that if you throw enough shit at a wall some will stick and if you say what people want to hear you will make money. I am completely baffled by how some people still read all that crap and actually believe it!

As for the 2nd Gen stuff - we know almost nothing other than it will exist, and will probably be based on a Toyota platform this time around. No real word on power train, features, handling characteristics, design, etc... everything else is speculation and wish-lists. I just hope they don't do to it as they did with the tC - the first gen cars were pretty decent, good-handling cars that were a definite successor to the Celica. The second gen cars just felt like Corolla coupes - bland and not all that good handling.

Might has well just buy the new hybrid AWD Camry. Going to be about the same thing.
OT: Why do some many strippers use the stage name "Camry"?
